I use banana as my base ingredient and then go from there. Depending on what is in the fridge or what is in season, I'll add and take away things.

Ingredients
  • 2 smallish Bananas
  • 1 Kiwifruit
  • ½ cup of Blueberries
  • ½ cup of Strawberries
  • 1 cup of Baby Spinach Leaves
  • ½ cup Filtered Water
  • 5 Ice Cubes
Instructions
  1. Wash and peel all of the fruits. Cut the larger fruits into smaller pieces and place them all in the blender.
  2. The water is mostly to get the ingredients spinning around, otherwise not much at all happens when you turn the blender on. Blend for a minute or two until all the ingredients are well mixed and are smooth enough to drink.
Notes
A great tip is to fill sealed freezer bags with enough fruits to just pop into the blender and voila, your healthy breakfast is done. I'm definitely not a morning person, so this freezer bag system has been as revolutionary as sliced bread for me! You'll just need to add a little more water to get it blending and you won't need the ice cubes.
